Mars (the Bringer of War) from The Planets
The Planets was composed by the English composer Gustav Holst between 1914 and 1916. Each of the 7 movements is named after a planet of the solar system and it's astrological character as defined by Holst. With the exception of Earth, all the planets of the solar system known at the time are represented.
Mars is the opening movement and has a war-like character in the music. Pluto was discovered in 1930, 4 years before Holst's death and thought to be the 9th planet but Holst did not write a futher movement to add to this suite as he felt the popularity of this work detracted from his othr compositions.
